This application is currently offline.........

Hello All,

I got this message when I "Build" my application. What did I do wrong.

"This application is currently offline. To enable the application, remove the app_offline.htm file from the application root directory. "

So, did you look in your Solution Explorer, find the file, and do what it said?

Yes. I deleted the file and it works fine now.

Why and how this file is created. File says the same thing as "This application is currently offline......."

yes I m also getting this error in my application .....what can be the reason behind it and what is the resolution for this

the resolution is - find the file called 'app_offline.htm' and remove it
